2007:

the band took a year off from roadwork and prepared the recordings for the fourth album. the actual studio sessions started in late may and and the whole recording/mixing process was stretched until the end of december.

2006:

four months after his departure Klaus came back into the fold. The band wrote and rehearsed new songs, highlight of the year was playing as support to swiss platinum rockers GOTTHARD. After that...more songs and recording demos in october.

2005:

Gigs were played . . . new songs were made. Klaus left the band after the last show this year and was replaced by Michael Schleske. That about wraps it all up!

2004

The new CD received again many good reviews all over the planet, many interviews have been done and gigging started again. By june Klaus and Steve decided not to go any further with Rudi and Arthur for various reasons. Both have thought about that move several times before. In came Uwe Heisler on bass, a long-time friend of Steve, and Ingo Zimmermann on guitar. After two and a half months the new line-up was ready to go on the road again and they finished the live dates by december. Among the 2004 gigs there were shows with Pure Inc., Kaminari, Cyberya, Castle Well and Sammy Gray.

2003

2003 saw the band rehearsing new songs and hit the studio in march for pre-production for the next album. They recorded demos for ten songs. In july they started recording for real this time. They decided to add one more song, so in the end there are eleven new songs on the newest CD: "Truth Or Consequences" which has been released in december 2003.

2001 / 2002

Time went by... and in January 2001 they found a new bass player at last: Rudi Brandelick.Being an experienced musician he knows quite a bit about gigging and recording. After four months of rehearsing and integrating Rudi Firesign hit the studio in april to record their second CD "WheelinŽAnŽDealinŽ" which has been released in June 2001. After that the band kept on playing concerts to promote the new CD. " WheelinŽanŽ DealinŽ "received very good reviews all around the world in print media as well as in online magazines.( see review section).

1998 / 1999 / 2000

Firesign was founded in summer 1998 by guitarist Steve Heyden and drummer Klaus Enderlin. Thomas Kraft was called in to play the four strings. They rehearsed and were looking for a singer.......and that was the point: Nobody was around to fit in and could sing good enough. Then Thomas got the chance to play in another band and quit ..just to be back in October 99.
In the meantime Klaus and Steve rehearsed and arranged songs. After that plans changed a little:
Steve took over on leadvocals and they were looking for a second guitarist. This time they were lucky: they found young hotshot Arthur Schlichting who would fit in perfectly personally and musically. Firesign was complete at last. They quickly went through the songs they had so far and hit the studio by december 99 to record their first CD " FOURPLAY" which received good reviews in HEAVY ODER ,WAS ?, BREAK OUT, ROCK IT and BURRN. While Firesign could slowly build up a good reputation as a hardrock band Thomas was getting tired of making music and quit after a gig in november 2000.
